The good news is, you don’t have to be good at maths to pass, or score well, in maths.

Bad news is, you need to put in some serious efforts if you have limited time.

Here’s what I will encourage my students to do, in order of importance:

    1. Do as many past papers as possible. Try all means to get the past papers, even to the extent of buying from your seniors (assuming you are not taking national exam in which case the papers will be publicly available). This is super important.
    2. Go through every topics to be covered. Start from the simpler topics. Yes, some topics are easier than the others.
    3. Make sure you can answer the simple ones in ALL the topics.
    4. Next, tackle the next level in difficulties on all the topics. Again, start with the simpler topics first.
    5. By now you should be at least able to get a pass.
    6. Do (4) as much as time permits.
    7. Bury yourself in the past papers and practice questions all the way to the last second before the start of your exam in February.

    Good luck!
