There is an important lesson here. Kiyosaki is loved by some and hated by others.

He isn’t the most knowledgable person about finance in the world.

He isn’t the best business person in the world. He went bankrupt himself.

However, he has created the most popular finance book. More successful than even many of Buffett’s books. There is a lesson there!

That shows that he is a world class marketer and brander. Anyway, he is my takeouts from the book:

1. He is 100% right about wealth and mentality and how bad the education system is in most countries
2. However there are many errors in his writing, that anybody with a computer could ascertain. For example, he claims that gold is a good investment
3. He gives contradictory advice. Sometimes he says the rich are rich because they invest in assets like businesses, stocks and bonds, and that is right. Other times, he claims the opposite, or at least implies that getting a 10% return on these assets is a bad return.

So a good book in terms of learning how to brand, if you are a business student.

Not a bad business book, but not a great investment book.
